Moving the girls to summer pasture.

Thursday we will start moving the girls and their lambs to our summer pasture on Sauvies Island.
We are moving them a little earlier than originally planned but with this very wet nasty weather our pastures are just too muddy to keep them here. I can't wait to see the on green grass!

Broiler chickens

I will be starting broiler chickens May 14th. I only raise small groups so you will need to get your deposits in early. Deposit cut off is May 10th. Our chickens are raised on pasture and you are always welcome to come see our set up. We take great pride in the way our birds are raised.
Broilers are $2.50 lb. Most will dress out at 4 to 5.5lbs. We prefer them to be picked up
fresh unfrozen the day they are processed but we can freeze a limited amount if you are unable to get here day of process. Deposit is $5.00 each. Please call and let me know how many you want and make deposit arrangements. I'm also taking orders for Thanksgiving turkeys. They are $3.00 lb. We raise Broad Breasted Bronze. Average size will be 20lbs. We are very limited on turkeys and only raise to order. We start our turkeys the middle of July so they are processed the week of Thanksgiving. Please get your $15.00 deposit in VERY early as we can only raise a small amount on our pasture.
